Hebei Iron and Steel Group (HBIS) Handan Steel received about 11,000 tons galvanized sheets order from the UK in June.
At present, its cold rolled mill has already produced all those quantities the customer required, and all those sheets are tested to be qualified.
It is learnt that this kind of galvanized sheets can make 20 US dollars more profit than common sheets.
This UK order for galvanized sheets requires heavy coil weight, while the heaviest one is 24 tons, and the orders for the 24 tons reached 7,000 tons. The thicknesses for the galvanized sheets are 0.4-3.0mm, and width are 1.0-1.54mm, while the zinc layer thickness are 140g/sqm, 220g/sqm and 275g/sqm.
