According to Newcastle Port Corporation, the Port of Newcastle exported 2.95 million tons of coals in the week ended on July 29th, decreasing by 12.6% from a week ago.
The thermal and coking coals exported from the Port of Newcastle amounted to 12.3 million tons during July 1st and July 29th.
Meanwhile, the larger exporters to ship coal from the Port of Newcastle are Anglo American, Peabody Energy, Rio Tinto and Xstrata.
