Posco resumes Gwangyang mini-mill after maintenance

It's reported that Korean steel giant Posco has resumed its operations at the mini-mill at its Gwangyang works after 6-day maintenance during June 14th through June 19th.

It's learned that the maintenance was mainly to upgrade facility to improve product quality and meet the country's concerns about energy saving in summer.

The mini-mill at Gwangyang works is now focusing to produce higher quality products, including high carbon steel and API grade materials.
