According to Newcastle Port Corporation, the Port of Newcastle shipped 2.4 million tons of coals in the week ended on April 22nd, falling by 20.9% from a week ago.
In the first 22 days of April, the Port of Newcastle's exports of thermal and coking coals totaled 8.1 million tons. The port authority predicted that the Newcastle Port will ship 12.8 million tons in April.
