According to statistics, Brazil imported 16.833 million tons of coking coals in 2012. The country's import revenues generated by coking coals totaled US$3.01 billion. The average import prices were at US$179/ton CIF.In 2012, the US was the largest coking coal exporter to Brazil with 7.106 million tons; Australia was the second largest one with 2.936 million tons; Colombia was the third largest one with 2.517 million tons.
