Ukraine’s crude steel to rise in next January

According to the forecast made by the Ukrainian Association of Ferrous Metallurgy Enterprises, the country's crude steel output would reach 2.76 million tons in next January, rising by 2.7% from this November.

At the same time, the country's pig iron ore production is expected to reach 2.54 million tons, increasing by 4.5% from this November.

Meanwhile, it predicted that the country's output of crude steel would be at 34.4 million tons in 2013, increasing by 5.6%; that of pig iron would be at 29.9 million tons, increasing by 4.6% and that of steel products would be at 31 million tons, up by 6.4%, all compared to that in the same period of a year ago.
