Japan’s imports of coking coals fall by 13.6% m-o-m in October

According to data, Japan imported 5.9 million tons of coking coals in October, falling by 13.6% from a month ago while rising by 2% year on year.

In the first 10 months of this year, the country's coking coal imports amounted to 60.50 million tons, increasing by 6.3% year on year.

In the given period of time, the imports of coking coal imported from Australia totaled 32.20 million ton, rising by 5.9%; those from Indonesia were at 14.80 million tons, increasing by 22.5%, both compared to that in the same period of a year ago.
