San Shing, one of the major steel nuts producers in Taiwan announced that its sales revenues in the third quarter totaled NT$1.264 billion, falling by 11.4% from a quarter ago. Also, the company's gross sales profit rate declined in the given period of time.

Due to the weak market demand from the EU and US markets, most of its customers have tried to reduce their stocks level, causing San Shing's sales decrease in the third quarter and making its capacity utilization rate under 80%.

For the prospect, San Shing said its orders in the fourth quarter might be lower than the figures in the third quarter.
