Taiwanese steel pipe makers expect that the export of API pipe to the US market for October and November would be affected by global keen competition, with the decreases of US$10~US$20 and US$20~US$30/ton on high-end and low-end API pipes respectively .
They indicate that the dropping level of pipe price in Taiwan is usually slighter than other countries, based on prices released from China Steel Corporation (CSC).
Hence, the export of API pipe for Taiwanese pipe makers will be tough for next two months.
