Indian Essar Steel announced that the firm recently received two huge orders of API pipes from Mid-East and Africa with total values of US$72 million.
It's known that 4,000 tons API pipes used in marine transportation will be supplied to African Chevron project. Meanwhile, 45,000 tons of high grade coated steel pipes with diameter of 48???will be supplied to Mid-East.
In the background, Essar Steel's produces 600,000 tons of steel pipes annually, including 275,000 tons of API spiral submerged arc welded pipes and 325,000 tons of API longitudinal submerged arc welded pipes.
