China’s copper imports surge to 20-month high

According to preliminary data released by customs, China's imports of unwrought copper and copper fabricated products totaled 452,022 tons in November, surged by 17.9% from a month earlier, reaching the highest level since March, 2010.

Besides, the country's copper scrap imports in November soared by 13.2% from October to reach 430,000 tons.

Meanwhile, China's total copper scrap imports in the first eleven months of this year totaled 3.93 million tons, up by 7.9% in comparison of that in the same period of last year
