Chinese steelmakers fight for coking coal mines

China has now become the largest steel maker and they need more coking coal for their large capacity.

As Mongolia is affluence with coal, state-owned steel makers are targeting the project in the area.

Not only the state-owned large steelmakers but also many private-owned steel mills are all have the strong willing to buy coking coal from Chinese largest supplier of the fuel.

According to Mongolia's National Mining Association, the coal production in Mongolia is expected to reach 60 million tons by 2015 from 22.5 million tons in 2010.

But due to the long term development of natural resources, the mining of coking coal may not be so reckless and rules may certainly impose an influence on the steel mills' fuel
