Actually, China has seen a rapid development in the domestic water soluble fertilizer market during recent years. In 2010, the output of water soluble fertilizer was only 600,000 tonnes in China, while in 2012, it increased to over 2,000,000 tonnes.
In the meantime, the number of registered water soluble fertilizer product has surged considerably. By the end of Jan. 2013, the data from the National Center for Quality Supervision and Testing of Chemical Fertilizers showed that the number of national registered water soluble fertilizers has reached 4,539, increasing by 32.3% compared to that till Dec. 2012.
With the increasing supply of water soluble fertilizers, it is predicted that the demand for them will also boom in China. In light of the Guidance on Water Soluble Fertilizer Technical Development released by China's Ministry of Agriculture in March 2013, the area that has adopted water soluble fertilizers should reach 80,000,000 acres by 2015, with an increase of 50 million acres compared to the statistics in 2012.
