Quintain Steel cuts wire rod prices for June

Quintain Steel, one of the major wire rod producers in Taiwan, announced to cut its list prices for all its wire rod products for June.

This is the first time that the company cut the price since early of this year.

Affected by China Steel Corp. (CSC)'s price drop, Quintain Steel also decided to decrease prices by NT$1,400/ton for June.

After the adjustment, the company's list prices for blast furnace Al-killed wire rods are at NT$23,600/ton; those for rimmed wire rods are at NT$21,600/ton; those for blast furnace killed wire rods are at NT$20,600/ton; and those for electric furnace Al-killed wire rods are at NT$21,600/ton.
