China Shenhua Energy Co Ltd, the country's largest coal producer, said yesterday that its commercial coal output rose 9.1% YoY to RMB 25.20 million metric tons in July this year.
Last month, the company sold 31.60 million metric tons of coal, 1.6%% less than in the same month of last year.
In the first seven months of this year, the company's output of commercial coal amounted to 181 million metric tons, up 10.7% YoY. China Coal Energy sold a total of 254 million metric tons of coal from January to July, reflecting a growth of 13.6% YoY.
The company is due to release its interim report on Aug. 25. In the first quarter of this year, the company's net profit rose 6.26% YoY to RMB 11.18 billion, and its core business revenue jumped 25.29% to RMB 59.53 billion.
