Chinese stocks slid lower in the morning session on Tuesday as investors parsed the lowest-in-eight-year GDP target for 2012 and worried about a slower growth in China.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index declined 1.13 percent, or 27.71 points, to 2,417.29 at the midday. The Shenzhen Component Index ended the morning session at 10,135.85, down 0.89 percent, or 90.58 points.
