China's stocks opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.18 percent to open at 2,483.96.
The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.22 percent higher at 10,500.57. The shares sank Thursday, sending the benchmark index on its greatest daily drop in almost three weeks as the nation's export figures indicated a further slowing in global demand and rising Italian bond yields fueled concerns about the eurozone debt crisis.
