China's stocks open slightly lower Tuesday

China's stocks opened slightly lower on Tuesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.17 percent to open at 2,366.4.

The Shenzhen Component Index edged down 0.03 percent to open at 9,954.23.
