China's stocks open slightly lower Wednesday

China's stocks opened slightly lower on Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.48 percent to open at 2,398.19.

The Shenzhen Component Index edged down 0.56 percent to open at 10,146.75.
