The World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) revealed in a report the global aluminum market excess supply of 423,000 tons for the first four months of this year.
In January-April of 2012, the global aluminum market excess supply is 410,100 tons, and 2012 full-year surplus 548,800 tons.
WBMS also reported that from January to April 2013, the global demand for primary aluminum was 15.265 million tons, an increase of 5.6%.
