Xi Jinping inspects CNPC

On the morning of April 14, Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping, also member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of CPC, made an inspection to CNPC, in the company of Central Political Bureau committee member Li Yuanchao.

After listeningn to the general situation of CNPC's learning and practicing the "scientific outlook on development", Xi urged CNPC to continue carrying forward Daqing Spirit and the Iron Man Spirit to contribute more to the development of national economy.

Xi also paid a visit to China Petroleum Finance Company and Beijing Oil and Gas Pipeline Control Center. He asked details about the company present assets scale, foreign exchange transaction and yields of bond investment, and learnt the situation of CNPC's long-distance oil and gas pipeline in terms of safety operation, emergency repair and pipeline construction.
