On April 8, the cooperation framework agreement on operation and management of the Central Asia-China Gas Pipeline was signed in Langfang, Hebei province. Under the agreement, PetroChina Pipeline Company, as a supporting agency to the operation of Central Asia-China Gas Pipeline, will be in charge of organizing and providing management and technical personnel needed for the operation of the pipeline, supplying management and technical support for the commissioning of the project, and offering management and technical consultation and special professional services for the assigned works of project operation.
According to the general deployment of CNPC, a single line of the Central Asia-China Gas Pipeline will be completed and operational by the end of 2009. Dual line operation will be realized in 2010 to boost the annual deliverability to 30 billion cubic meters in 2012.
