On the morning of February 12, He Guoqiang, member of the standing Committee of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee and Secretary of Central Discipline Inspection Commission, made an inspection to CNPC, with the accompanying of Deputy Secretary of Central Discipline Inspection Commission He Yong, Minister of Industry and Information Li Yizhong, and Chairman of the State-owned Assets Inspection and Management Commission Li Rongrong.

After listening to a briefing on the general situation of the company, He Guoqiang in turn confirmed the achievements that CNPC has made in its development, reform and opening up, and independent technological innovation in recent years. He Guoqiang also paid a visit to the virtual visualization center of oil and gas exploration and production in CNPC Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development, the assembly workshop of the top drive center at Beijing Petroleum Machinery Factory of CNPC Drilling Research Institute, and the emergency command room of the Beijing Oil and Gas Pipeline Control Center.
