On March 1, all CNPC's 230 service stations in Beijing replaced their supplies of 90# gasoline with the cleaner G-Ⅳ fuel.

By using G-Ⅳ gasoline, annual sulfur dioxide emissions from vehicles in Beijing will be cut by 1,840 tons. Meanwhile, emissions of other pollutants, such as carbon monoxide, hydroxide and nitrogen oxide, will also be reduced.
