Chadian President Idriss Deby visits CNPC

    On September 21, Chadian President Idriss Deby, accompanied by Wang Yingwu, Chinese Ambassador to Chad, paid a visit to CNPC headquarters in Beijing. Wang Dongjin, Assistant President of CNPC, welcomed President Deby on behalf of CNPC and accompanied the guests on their visit to CNPC's Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration & Development.
  
  During his visit, President Deby got acquainted with the activities of CNPC and learnt about our internationalization process and the situation of Sino-African oil and gas cooperation.
  
  President Deby expressed his admiration and appreciation for CNPC's exploration results in Chad, as well as our highly responsible attitude and our capabilities in capital investment and technology. He emphasized that CNPC is highly trusted by the Chadian government and hoped that Sino-Chadian oil and gas cooperation could be strategic, mutually beneficial and sustained in order to benefit the peoples of both nations.
