Selected non-staple food prices –41st week of 2014

Pork, egg prices drop

 

According to MOA's Agri-product Wholesale Market Information Network, the Nationwide Agri-product Wholesale Price Index for the 41st week of 2014 (Oct. 6-12, 2014) is 203.27 (year 2000=100), decreasing by 1.01 points over a week ago. The Nationwide Non-staple Food Wholesale Price Index is 204.60, down by 1.31 points over a week ago. The trade volume of 60 items in 50 wholesale markets under intensive monitoring is 575,300 tons, increasing by 3.9% compared to the previous week.

3. Out of the 28 items of vegetables under intensive monitoring, 16 items witnessed price decrease while 12 items saw price rise.
