Egg price rises slightly,
vegetable prices remain stable
According to MOA's Agri-product Wholesale Market Information Network, the Nationwide Agri-product Wholesale Price Index for the 27th week of 2014 (June 30-July 6, 2014) is 205.10 (year 2000=100), up by 1.21 points over the previous week. The Nationwide Non-staple Food Wholesale Price Index is 206.98, up by 1.43 points. The trade volume of 60 items in 50 wholesale markets under intensive monitoring is 613,500 tons, down by 3.5% compared to the previous week.

2. The price of egg was 23.7% higherthan that of the same period last year.
3. The total trade volume in 50 major wholesale markets under intensive monitoring of MOA.
4. 14 of the 28 vegetable items witnessed price increase, 4 items remained the same and the other 10 items saw price drop compared to those of the previous week.
5. The average vegetable price was 6.2% higher than that of the same period last year.
6. Change of prices was within 5%.
