Selected non-staple food prices –13th week of 2014

Pork price continues to drop

while vegetable prices stay low

 

According to MOA's Agri-product Wholesale Market Information Network, the Nationwide Agri-product Wholesale Price Index for the 13th week of 2014 (March 24-30, 2014) is 204.33 (year 2000=100), decreasing by 1.78 points over a week ago. The Nationwide Non-staple Food Wholesale Price Index is 206.04, down by 2.19 points. The trade volume of 60 items in 50 wholesale markets under intensive monitoring is 641,300 tons, decreasing by 1.1% compared to the previous week.
