Russia's Jan-Oct fertilisers output falls 4.3% on-year
From January-October of 2012, Russia's output of mineral and chemical fertilisers dropped 4.3% on-year to 14.9 million tonnes.
In October, fertiliseroutput decreased 11.0% on the year but rose 5.9% on the month, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement Friday (Nov 16).
In January-October, ammonia production fell 2.2% on-year to 11.3 million tonnes, disodium carbonate production grew 1.5% on-year to 2.4 million tonnes, sodium hydroxide rose 5.0% on-year to 903,000 tonnes.
