XLX Fertiliser to establish Xinjiang facility
China XLX Fertiliser Ltd plans to put up a plant in Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region for about RMB2.7 billion (US$0.43 billion).
The goal of the company is to expand its production capacity of urea and compound fertiliser.
The plant, which is scheduled to be finished by the end of 2016, will be able to produce 2.58 million tonnes of urea and 900,000 tonnes of compound fertilisers annually when operational.
The Hong Kong-listed company will also produce melamine through the factory.
