Ukraine's N-P-K production down 32% in February
Comparing with February 2011 production of N-P-K mineral fertiliser, Ukraine's February 2012 production fell 32.1% or 12,900 tonnes to 27,300 tonnes.
Ukrainian News learned this from the Cherkasy state scientific and research institute of technical and economic information in the chemical industry.
In February, OJSC Sumykhimprom decreased N-P-K production by 8.4% to 27,300 tonnes against February 2011.
CJSC Dniprovskyi plant of mineral fertilisers did not produce N-P-K in February 2012.
In January-February 2012, the production went down by 50.4% or 35,200 tonnes, compared to January-February 2011 to 34,700 tonnes.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in January 2012, production of N-P-K, a mineral fertilisercontaining nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, fell by 75.1% or 22,300 tonnes, comparing with January 2011.
In 2011, production of N-P-K grew 2.6 times or by 240,600 tonnes, as compared with 2010, to 387,800 tonnes.
