China's chemical fertiliser yield hits 60.27 million tonnes
The chemical fertilisers output of China totalled 60.27 million tonnes in the whole of 2011, surpassing 2010 by 12.14%, according to China National Chemical Information Center.
In the period it produced 41.79 million tonnes of nitrogen fertilisers, 14.62 million tonnes of phosphate fertilisers and 3.86 million tonnes of potash, accounting for 69.34%, 24.26% and 6.4% of its total chemical fertiliser output respectively.
In December of 2011 alone China produced a total of 5.07 million tonnes of nitrogen fertilisers, phosphate fertilisers and potash, up 7.79% on-year.
In the whole of last year Hubei in Central China produced 10.18 million tonnes of chemical fertilisers, accounting for 16.89% of the country's total output, while Shandong, Henan and Sichuan contributed 10.12%, 7.87% and 7.81% of the country's chemical fertiliser production.
