India''s poultry feed prices remained unchanged following volatility in prices of key ingredients.

   

   

Aditya Mishra, an expert, said that despite some recovery in the prices of soymeal and a few other ingredients, prices of poultry feed products were unchanged.

   

   

"We were waiting for the prices to stabilise and feedproducts may continue to rule without alteration for the next few days," he said.

   

   

In the physical market, soymeal improved by INR500 (US$8) and sold at INR32,900 (US$531) a tonne while bajra went further up by INR100 (US$1.60) and sold at INR12,400-12,700 (US$200-205) a quintal.

   

   

Di-calcium phosphate sold at INR34.60 (US$0.56) a kilogramme (kg), meat and bone meal (MBM) sold at INR30/kg (US$0.48) while corn eased by INR15 (US$0.24) and went for INR1,470-1,510 (US$24-24.40) a quintal. Dry-rolled barley (DRB) increased by INR100 (US$1.60) and sold at INR11,100 (US$179) a quintal while rice bran oil was at INR59/kg (US$0.95).

   

   

Mustard de-oiled cake went up by INR200 (US$3.20) and sold at INR14,700/tonne (US$237).

   

   

Broiler concentrate quoted at INR1,960 (US$32) for a 50-kg bag while broiler starter mash sold at INR1,500 (US$24). Pre-lay mash sold at INR1,025 (US$16.50). Layer concentrate 25% was sold at INR1,465 (US$24) while layer concentrate 35% was at INR1,150 (US$18.54).

   

   

Broiler ruled flat at INR66-67 (US$1.06-1.08) a kg, egg went down by INR0.03 (US$0.0005) and was at INR3.12 (US$0.05), while chick went for INR24 (US$0.39), unchanged.
