India''s poultry feed prices to remain steady
India''s poultry feedprices remained unchanged and will continue to be at its current levels for the next few days as the cost of production being steady at its present level.
This is according to Aditya Mishra, a commodity expert.
In the physical market, soymeal continued to witness the downtrend, dropped further by INR200 (US$3.30) and sold at INR30,400/tonne (US$501). Bajra moved dropped by INR60 (US$1) to INR1,220/quintal (US$20) while di-calcium phosphate dropped by INR0.10 (US$0.002) to INR34.70/kilogramme (US$0.57). Meat bone meal (MBM) ruled flat and sold at INR33/kilogramme (US$0.54) while corn improved by INR50 (US$0.82) to INR1,450-1,490/quintal (US$24-24.50).
Prices of mustard de-oiled cake decreased by INR500 (US$8) and sold at INR13,800/tonne (US$227), defatted rice bran (DRB) moved up by INR600 (US$10) and sold at INR11,000 (US$181) while rice bran oil continued to rule flat at INR54/kilogramme (US$0.89).
Broiler concentrate feed quoted at INR1,970 (US$32) for a 50-kilogramme bag while broiler starter mash sold at INR1,480 (US$24). Pre-lay mash sold at INR1,015 (US$17), while layer grower mash quoted at INR955 (US$16). Layer concentrate 25% sold at INR1,465 (US$24) while layer concentrate 35% was at INR1,150 (US$19). Broiler finisher sold at INR1,460 (US$24). Broiler improved by INR8 (US$0.13) and quoted at INR84-86 (US$1.38-1.42) a kilogramme. Egg went up by INR0.16 (US$0.003) and sold at INR2.88 (US$0.05), while chick was up INR4 (US$0.07) at INR22-24 (US$0.36-0.40) from the previous levels.
