EU discovers contamination of melamine in feed

   

   

   

Several alerts of melamine contaminated feed were discovered during the last week of July, according to an overview of the European Commission.

   

   

The Rapid Alert System found contaminated rice protein in France, Greece, Spain and Great Britain. In Poland, a batch of contaminated corn gluten had been discovered. All of the feed was imported from China.
