Prices of poultry feed products in India will remain unchanged in the coming days due to steady production costs.

   

   

Aditya Mishra, a commodity expert, said that though there is some fluctuation in the prices of key ingredients, it has not made much impact on the cost of production. Feed prices may continue to rule around current levels even in the coming days, he said. Prices were expected to fall but recovery in soymeal kept feedprices unchanged.

   

   

In the physical market, soymeal increased by INR600 (US$10.30) to INR35,400 (US$606) a tonne. Bajra eased by INR20 (US$0.34) to INR1,500 (US$26) a quintal, di-calcium phosphate (DCP) was at INR35 (US$0.60) a kilogramme, meat and bone meal (MBM) went down by INR1 (US$0.02) to INR36 (US$0.62) a kilogramme, while corn improved by INR20 (US$0.34) to INR1,500 (US$26) a quintal.

   

   

Mustard de-oiled cake went up by INR300 (US$5.14) to INR15,300 (US$262) a tonne, DRB witnessed some correction and dropped by INR50 (US$0.86) to INR9,200 (US$158) a tonne, while rice bran oil ruled at INR49 (US$0.84) a kilogramme, unchanged.

   

   

Pre-lay mash sold at INR1,020 (US$17.50) for a 50-kilogramm e bag, while layer grower mash quoted at INR960 (US$16) for a 50-kilogramme bag. "Layer concentrate 25%" sold at INR1,445 (US$25) for a 50-kilogramme bag, while "layer concentrate 35%" sold at INR1,130 (US$19) for a 50-kilogramme bag.

   

   

Broiler concentrate quoted at INR1,980 (US$34) for a 50-kilogramme bag, while Broiler Starter Mash quoted at INR1,500 (US$26). Meanwhile, egg improved on low stocks while broiler eased on reduced off-take, on Saturday (Jun 8). Egg went up by INR0.26 (US$0.004) and sold at INR3.20 (US$0.05). Broiler eased by INR5 (US$0.09) and quoted at INR76 to INR78 (US$1.30 to US$1.34) a kilogramme, while chick went for INR12 to INR13 (US$0.21 to US$0.22), ruled flat at previous levels.
