Viterra rearranges South East Asian management

On November 7, Viterra Inc. stated that president of South East Asian office, Rob Gordon, has tendered his resignation and will be leaving the company effective February 4, 2012.

Gordon will be accepting a position as chief executive officer (CEO) of SunRice and will continue in his current role until February, supporting Viterra's growth initiatives in South East Asia while representing Viterra with key stakeholders and the government.

Gordon made a valuable contribution to Viterra during his two-year tenure, leading the integration of ABB, strengthening Viterra's operational platform and managing South Australia's largest harvest ever, all while delivering superior financial results, the company said.

Mayo Schmidt, president and CEO of Viterra, said, "Rob will be missed. Rob's passion and leadership cultivated an outstanding team that delivered strong results for Viterra's Australian operations setting the stage for continued growth. We thank him for his dedication and wish him success in his role as CEO of SunRice."
