Fane Valley Group relocates to feed plant
Northern Ireland's Fane Valley Group will relocate to a new GBP18 million (US$27.8 million) animal feed plant in Omagh.
The project is expected to create one of the most advanced feed plant in Europe, delivering significant efficiencies in terms of energy demand and environmental impact.
The new plant will be completed in April and operational by summer, and will complement the group's other production facility in Newry. The plant also will give full coverage of the northern half of the island, including Donegal and the border counties of Cavan, Monaghan and Louth.
Trevor Lockhart, chief executive of Fane Valley Group, said the new facility will form a key part of the company's future growth plans.
