Taiwan clears animal feed of adulteration charge
Taiwan's Council of Agriculture (COA) said there is no animal feed containing dog meat in the country.
The COA also dismissed rumours that animal feed containing horse and kangaroo meat had been imported from Australia.
The COA said according to the Quarantine Requirement for the Importation of Animals or Animal Products, any animal feed must contain a certificate of inspection from the country of export, list its ingredients, and pass examination by the Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine in order to be imported into Taiwan.
