5 Chinese poultry producers permitted to export to Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan's Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection and Quarantine has recently permitted five Henan's poultry producers:LuoheShuanghui, XinzhengDayang and three other companies under Huaying Group, to export poultry meat and products to Kyrgyzstan.
The country had implemented a temporary ban on China's poultry meat and products last yeardue to bird flu outbreaks. Though Kyrgyzstan had lifted the ban six months later, only companies that are approved by the country's meat and products watchdog are permitted to export their meats.
Among them, Huaying Group has reached an understanding with Kyrgyzstan importers, to export 8400 tons of duck meat annually. It is estimated that the annual meat imports for Kyrgyzstan is 150,000 tons, and China, being her second largest source of imported poultry and poultry products, accounts for 19.4% of the total imports.
