China calcium phosphate demand improves, sellers keep prices competitive
Prices moved lower during the period in review.
Broiler and egg prices strengthened lately as the approaching of Qingming Festival drove up demand. However, traders and producers, who were eager to clear bloating inventories, kept prices competitive in attempts to entice buyers.
In Yunnan, prices of calcium phosphate were in the range of RMB1,430-1,450/tonne.
Prices of calcium phosphate are poised to firm up in Q2 on the back of expanding demand.
