Slack demand decimates calcium phosphate sales in China
Prices moved lower during the period in review.
The demand for calcium phosphate was weak, compelling producers to cut prices despite limited supply and high output cost.
In Yunnan, prices were softer in the range of RMB1,650-1,720/tonne.
Calcium phosphate producers will be reluctant to negotiate prices as the cost of phosphate ore is poised to stay strong. However, slack demand will continue to exert pressure on the market in the coming period.
