New Year wishes of rural school children

As the New Year approaches, students from a rural primary school in Bengbu, Anhui province write down their wishes for the coming New Year.

 

 

"I wish my parents can stop quarreling and live together in peace with each other. Then we can have a sweet and cozy dinner."

 

Fang Haojie, 12, lives with his grandmother. His parents work in a bicycle factory in Changzhou, Jiangsu province and will only come back home at Spring Festival. Fang's grandmother, who is blind, is now in poor health. [Photo/CFP]

 

 

"I wish I could buy a video recorder to record the happy times I spend with my family."
