Most Non-staple Agri-food prices drop slightly

 

According to MOA's Agri-product Wholesale Market Information Network, the Nationwide Agri-product Wholesale Price Index for the 2nd week of 2015 (Jan. 12-18, 2015) is 204.73 (year 2000=100), decreasing by 2.64 points from the previous week. The Nationwide Non-staple Agri-food Wholesale Price Index is 206.42, decreasing by 3.19 points from the previous week. The trade volume of 60 items in 50 intensively monitored wholesale markets is 611,700 tons, increasing by 1.7% from the previous week.

3.   Out of the 28 intensively monitored vegetables, 8 witnessed price increase, 19 saw price drop, and one remained the same price compared with the previous week.

4.   Change of the prices was within 5%.
