Egg and vegetable prices continue to drop

 

According to MOA's Agri-product Wholesale Market Information Network, the Nationwide Agri-product Wholesale Price Index for the 9th week of 2015 (March. 2-8, 2015) is 210.45 (year 2000=100), decreasing by 2.84 points from the previous week. The Nationwide Non-staple Agri-food Wholesale Price Index is 213.16, decreasing by 3.51 points from the previous week.

1.   The price dropped slightly for 2 consecutive weeks, the drop range increased by 1.2 percentage points from the previous week.

2.   The price dropped for 2 consecutive weeks, the drop range increased by 4.7 percentage points from the previous week.

3.   Out of the 28 intensively monitored vegetables, 8 witnessed price increase while 20 saw price drop.

4.   Price change was within 10%.
