GroGenesis enjoys successful presentation to Central American agriculture industry professionalsGroGenesis enjoys successful presentation to Central American agriculture industry professionals" title="Share this link on Facebook">Springville, Tennessee, USAMarch 24, 2015GroGenesis, Inc. (OTCBB: GROG) ("GroGenesis" or the "Company"), rights holders, developers and manufacturers of innovative plant health enhancement products, is very pleased to report on the success of its recent invitation-only, day-long agricultural industry
symposium
presented on Thursday, March 19th in Guatemala City, Guatemala.GroGenesis management were very pleased by the enthusiastic welcome and larger than anticipated audience of agricultural industry professionals including representatives from large scale coffee and
sugar
cane operations. The presentation featured Dr. Helen Keenan, Senior Scientific Advisor to GroGenesis, who explained how the Company's two non-toxic environmentally safe and sustainable products, AgraBlast and AgraBurst, work together to effectively control fungal disease, increase nutrient uptake, and positively impact crop yield. The presentation focused on GroGenesis' eco-friendly ability to manage and combat coffee rust, a fungal disease currently causing serious economic hardship to the coffee industry in Guatemala and around the world. Citing significant evidence of the success that GroGenesis has had in treating coffee rust infected plants using AgraBurst and AgraBlast, Dr. Keenan referenced regional trials that began last July 2014 in Guatemala. Dr. Keenan went on to educate and inform the attentive audience on the Company's environmentally safe alternatives to the many toxic treatments currently used by growers, and how long-term results could prove both environmentally and economically profound when deployed across large scale operations up to and including the entire regional coffee growing industry. In addition, Dr. Keenan noted positive results achieved using AgraBurst to treat
sugarcane
at a private commercial plantation in Guatemala. The preliminary results have encouraged plantation operators to expand the scope of the trial, and plantation owner Rodolfo Pivaral stated, "We are very excited about this product and are looking forward to treating a far bigger area and seeing the same positive results that are very evident here. I really like that this is a long term product that doesn't adversely impact our land for the future."Mr. Stephen Moseley, GroGenesis Vice President of Sales & Manufacturing and an attendee at the event, notes, "The success of the seminar was immediately measured by positive media coverage and attendee responses that clearly signaled a significant increase in interest resulting in invitations for follow up meetings with what are clearly qualified sales leads. We aim to fully leverage this visit within both the coffee and sugarcane industries as we feel confident we earned the respect of a number of new potential customers for GroGenesis."Additional details of the Company's business, finances, appointments and agreements can be found in its ongoing filings which forms part of the Company's continuous public disclosure as a reporting issuer with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") available atwww.sec.gov.About AgraBlast and AgraBurstAgraBlast is a liquid broad-spectrum algaecide,
