Vice Minister Zhang Taolin meets CIP Director General

Vice Minister Zhang Taolin met with Barbara Wells, the visiting Director General of the International Potato Center (CIP) and her delegation in Beijing on April 8, 2015. The two sides reviewed the construction process of CIP-China Center for the Asia Pacific Region (CCCAP) in the previous period and exchanged views on further promoting CCCAP development.
Zhang pointed out that the Ministry of Agriculture has attached great importance to CCCAP development and spoke highly of the progress made so far. For the next step, the two sides need to make greater efforts, particularly in conducting consultations on the Supplementary Agreement on Administration and Finance.
Director General Wells expressed her thanks for the support of China to CCCAP, and introduced the views of CIP to enhance cooperation with China in the future.
