Guangzhou China, June 13, 2011 CCM released its latest newsletter Industrial Biotechnology China News in June 2011. In this issue, CCM presents you the update news of policy and regulation about biofuel.

It is estimated that Chinese bio-energy industry will be actively encouraged and supported by Chinese Central Government at least in the next five years.

"Technical Requirements for Biodiesel Assessment", the domestic first trade standard for biodiesel officially issued by China Association of Environmental Protection Industry (CAEPI) on April 20, 2011, is expected to regulate Chinese biodiesel industry in a comprehensive approach, containing aspects of product quality requirement, sales and production.

The bio-energy enterprises benefit a lot from the trade standard. For example, Qingdao Furuisi Bio-energy Scientific Technology Development Co., Ltd. is a biodiesel producer who has already reached the trade standard. As a result, the company largely enhances clients' confidence in the company's biodiesel quality and thus increases its sales of biodiesel.

Governmental support is an important element on the sales growth of bio-energy industry in China. The Chinese government will keep encouraging the development of bio-energy industry in the future.

The following highlights will also be covered in the latest newsletter:
