Guangzhou China, June 22, 2011 - The June issue of Glyphsoate China Monthly Report has been released on June 20, 2011, indicating the depressed glyphosate market in China, and there is a long way for Chinese glyphosate industry to rebound.
In June 2011, prices of most glyphosate products remain depressed. Electricity prices in 15 provinces in China have been raised since June 1, 2011, which caused the increasing costs of glyphosate and its raw materials, aggravating the dreadful glyphosate market. The shortage supply of electricity also leads to the high cost of yellow phosphorus in the wet season this year.
The depressed glyphosate market slashed many glyphosate manufacturers' confidence and lowered their passion. What's worse, Brazil announced anti-dumping mid-term review on glyphosate imported from China in late May 2011.
Many professionals have proposed and appealed for the industry integration, but the government hasn't released relevant supporting policies or regulations. There is a long way for China's glyphosate industry to go to achieve positive integration.
The following highlights are covered in the June issue of Glyphsoate China Monthly Report:
-Biok Kaipu suspends glyphosate production for environmental problems.
-Zhejiang Wynca adopts diversified operating strategy to secure its high growth.
-Brazil launches antidumping mid-term review on Chinese glyphosate, but this hasn't evoked much concern in Chinese glyphosate industry.
-Heightened electricity price aggravates the depressed Chinese glyphosate market.
-Professionals deem that glyphosate produced by AEA route will take the preemptive opportunities when glyphosate price sees recovery.
-Yellow phosphorus price hovers at high level in wet season because of the supply shortage of electricity in China.
-China's paraformaldehyde faces serious overcapacity and stagnant demand in glyphosate industry.
-MBR technology is applied in glyphosate liquid treatment, developed by Hangzhou Tianchuang Waterpure Equipment Co., Ltd.
-Glyphosate price remains dreadful in June 2010.
-China's glyphosate export saw decline in April 2011, due to the stagnant overseas demand.
