Hainan Pesticide Implementation Measure Offers More Flexibilities

      Guangzhou China, July 5, 2011 - The latest issue of Crop Protection China News has come out on June 30th, 2011, indicating the Implementation Measures on pesticide industry to offer a more flexible condition for the pesticide dealers in Hainan.

    

       

    

      On 24 June 2011, the Implementation Measures of Hainan Province Pesticide Wholesale and Retail Business License Management Regulation (Trial) has been approved, which  offers a more flexible condition for the pesticide dealers in Hainan and allows the cities and counties in Hainan Province to adjust the number of retail enterprises in local areas, according to the actual situation of local agricultural development, the location of state-owned farms and traffic conditions, etc.

    

       

    

      According to the Implementation Measures, till 2013, there will be no more than three pesticide wholesale enterprises left in Hainan with registered capital of over USD15.2 million. Each of these pesticide wholesale enterprises can set up 18 distribution centers in Hainan. As for pesticide retail enterprises, the upper limit number is set to be only 205 in the whole island and the registered capital of the retail enterprise should not be less than USD152,000.

    

       

    

      The Implementation Measures will encourage the pesticide business to some extend, boosting the new development of pesticide industry in Hainan.
